Oracular Spectacular
Art*esoteric residency
We explore the interception between creativity, psychology and spirituality by creating oracles with different materials such as cards, sounds, objects, smells, spells, videos, spaces and others.
We build our own interpretative system, with its own rules of interpretation by creating a relevant constellations of symbols. We also develop ways in which our creations become meaningfully interactive with other people.

Oracular Spectacular runs regularly as a residency since 2021. An incubator of over 80 oracles - 10 of them are currently being commercialised.
The research collected from this project was selected and exposed at the Congress of Tarot Barcelona 2023.
A residency means that you will develop and work on a project of your own.
You do not need to be a tarot reader or an artist to participate:
You just need to be open and curious.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
+ Anyone who is interested in exploring the interception between art, psychology & magic
+ Anyone who wants to create an oracle to publish and distribute it.
+ Anyone who is creative (no, you do not need to be an artist to be part of this)
+ Anyone who is interested in exploring their creative and spiritual beliefs in group
+ Anyone who can commit to explore at least 1 idea over the course of the residency.
+ Artists who want to go deeper on symbolism, divinatory states and the interpretative side of their praxis
+ Oracle readers -such as Tarot, runes, astrology, palm, aura, and others- who wish to understand the dynamic of building a divinatory artefact and setting up rules for its interpretation. Yes, this will highly enrich your practice.
+ Anyone looking to join a “coven” of 10 people exploring divinatory states and creative practices
+ Anyone who was to go deeper on their creative and spiritual practice and as a human-creator being.
WHY IS O.S. A RESIDENCY?
You will develop and work through a project of your own throughout the 6 weeks.
If you do not have a clear idea for your oracle yet, do not worry: the 1st meeting is designed for this.
If you do have a clear idea: stay open for it to change, as it tends to happen after the 1st meeting.
PROGRAM
1. Creating soulful oracles: the relationship between the materials and the experience.
Foundations for oracular systems and the importance of a personal cosmology.
2. The game’s rules: how do we organise our oracle? Which experience do I bring to life through it? Ways of building beyond resistances.
3. Invocations: when is my oracle alive? Archetypes, sigils, beings. Spirituality and art: a non-negotiable connection.
4. The actual practice: What works, what doesn’t, what needs to change.

19h - 21h UK Time. Online via zoom. Classes will be recorded.
